Today when Lily and I checked the mail, we had received a package. Lily immediately asked if it was for her and I told that is was for daddy. She couldn't wait to get home to tell her daddy that we had a box for him. When we got home, Billy was in the backyard mowing. She screamed loud enough to get his attention. He asked her what she needed. This is how the conversation went:
Lily: Daddy, we got a box in the mail today and it's for you.
Billy: How do you know it's for me?
Lily: Because it says D A D D Y!
Yes, she spelled out Daddy! He was so proud! And, I was very proud of my girl...but, why did I teach her Daddy before Mama?? Guess I will be working on that one next! :)
